Never Mention Negatives in Your Resume

If you have some sort of negative issue in your job history (such as getting fired), don’t raise it — ever — but especially not in your cover letter or resume. Even in the interview, let the employer bring it up. Once the issue has been raised, the best answer is always the truth.
